# Technical architecture

**Traders: skip this page.** Start with [Getting started](/voltarb-docs/english/getting-started.md) or the [Web Terminal](/voltarb-docs/english/web-terminal.md).

This chapter is optional — for curious power users and builders only.

## Stack (high level)

| Layer            | Tech                                                        |
| ---------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| Backend          | **Rust**, **Axum**, Tokio                                   |
| Streaming to web | **SSE** (and WebSockets for books where used) |
| Data             | **Postgres** (+ Timescale-style time series where deployed) |
| Collectors | Native CEX collectors, DEX collectors, funding engine |
| Frontend         | React / Vite (`voltarb.com`)                                |
| Bots             | Hub + personal Telegram workers                             |
| Billing | USDT **BSC** invoices, HD deposit addresses |

## Design goals

* Normalize heterogeneous exchange feeds into comparable opportunities
* Attach **lifetime** and tradability context, not only last mid
* Push the same opportunity brain to web, bots, and Mini App
* Keep Free/Pro entitlements consistent via account + **VKEY**

## What this is not

* Not a hosted exchange
* Not a custodian of your trading capital on the public scanner
* Not a promise that every connector has identical latency

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://voltarb.gitbook.io/voltarb-docs/for-builders-optional/architecture.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
