# Funding arbitrage

**Funding** is a periodic payment between longs and shorts on perpetual futures. When rates diverge across venues, traders may run **delta-neutral** style setups (long one venue, short another) to harvest the funding differential — while managing basis, fees, and liquidation risk.

## Risks (read this)

Always size for the worse case, not the headline APR.
